Privacy statement

Basic principles

This privacy statement is intended to inform the users of this website of the type, scope, and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the website operator tranet represented by Cristina Navas Villalonga.

The website operator takes your data protection very seriously and handles your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory regulations. New technologies and constant development of this website may mean that changes are made to this privacy statement, so we recommend that you reread the privacy statement at regular intervals.

You can find definitions of the terms used (e.g. “personal data” and “processing”) in Article 4 GDPR.

Access data

We, the website operator or provider, on the grounds of justified interest (see Article 6(1) f GDPR), collect data about access to the website and save this data as “server log files” on the website server. The following data is logged in this way:

  • Website visited

  • Time of access

  • Quantity of data sent in bytes

  • Source/link, from which you have reached the page

  • Browser used

  • Operating system used

  • IP address used

The server log files are stored for a maximum of 7 days and then deleted. The data is stored for security reasons, e.g. to resolve cases of misuse. If it is necessary to keep data for the purposes of evidence, it will not be deleted until the incident has been finally resolved.

Reach measurement & cookies

This website uses cookies for pseudonymised reach measurement, and these are transferred to the browser of the user either from our server or from the server of third parties. Cookies are small files that are stored on your end device. Your browser accesses these files. Using cookies makes this website more user-friendly and secure.

If you do not want cookies to be stored on your end device for reach measurement, you can opt out of use of these files here:

Current browsers offer a setting option to block cookies. Note: You are not guaranteed to be able to access all the functions of this website without restrictions if you use these settings.

The following cookies are used at tranet.eu:

  • phpsessid: It contains an anonymous user ID, so that several requests by a user can be assigned to the same HTTP session. This cookie is used by WordPress CMS and it is deleted at the end of the session.

  • woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart: These two cookies contain information about the shopping cart as a whole and help the plug-in WooCommerce in the CMS WordPress to detect when the shopping cart data changes. No personal data is saved and the cookie is deleted at the end of the session.

  • wp_woocommerce_session: This cookie contains a unique code for each customer, so that the shopping cart data for each customer can be found in the database. No personal data is saved and the cookie is deleted at the end of the session.

  • __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid: Stripe is used for carrying out credit card payments. Stripe uses a cookie to remember who you are and to enable tranet to process payments without storing credit card information on its own servers. The cookies are deleted at the end of the session (__stripe_sid) or after a year (__stripe_mid).

The following cookies are stored by the embedded Google MAP on the contact page of tranet.eu.

  • NID: This cookie is contained in requests that are sent by browsers to Google websites. The NID cookie contains a unique ID, which Google uses to save your preferred settings and other information, particularly your preferred language (e.g. German), how many search results per page should be displayed (e.g. 10 or 20) and if the Google SafeSearch filter should be activated. It expires after 5 months.

  • CONSENT: This is a security cookie from Google, to authenticate users, to prevent dishonest use of log-in information, and to protect user data from access by unauthorised persons. It is valid for 20 years.

Collection and processing of personal data

The website operator collects your personal data, uses it, and only transfers it on if this is permitted in the statutory framework or you consent to the data collection.

Personal data includes all information that can be used to determine your identity and which can be traced back to you – such as your name, your e-mail address and telephone number.

You can also visit this website without giving personal information. However, to improve our online offering we save data on your access to this website (without personal references). This access data includes, for example, the file you requested or the name of your internet provider. As the data is anonymised it is not possible to link it to you.

Handling contact information

If you contact us as the website operator using the contact options offered, your information is saved so it can be used to process and respond to your request. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent.

Handling comments and contributions

If you leave a contribution or a comment on this website, your IP address is saved. This is done on the basis of our justified interest in the sense of Article 6(1) f GDPR and it improves our security as a website operator: This is because if your comment breaks applicable law, we can be prosecuted for it, so we have an interest in the identity of the author of the comment or contribution.

Google Analytics

This website uses the “Google Analytics” service, offered by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) on the basis of our justified interest in optimisation and analysis of our online offering in the sense of Article 6(1) f GDPR. This service (Google Analytics) uses “cookies” – text files that are saved on your end device. The information gathered by the cookies is generally sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Google LLC observes European data protection law and is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement: https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active

IP anonymisation is used on this website. The IP address of users is shortened in member states of the EU and the European Economic Area and in the other states that are party to the agreement. Only in individual cases is the IP address initially sent in unshortened form to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. This shortening removes the personal reference from your IP address. The user IP address sent by the browser is not combined with other data stored by Google.

In the framework of the agreement on order data processing that we have concluded with Google Inc. as the website operator, it is used together with the collected information to evaluate website use and website activity, and it provides services linked to internet use.

The data collected by Google on our behalf is used to evaluate the use of our online offering by the individual users, e.g. to produce reports on the activity on the website, to improve our online offering.

You have the opportunity to prevent cookies from being saved on your device by changing the settings appropriately in your browser. You are not guaranteed to be able to access all the functions of this website without restrictions if your browser does not allow cookies.

Furthermore, you can use a browser plug-in to prevent the information gathered by cookies (including your IP address) from being sent to Google Inc. or used by Google Inc. The following link takes you to this plug-in: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

Alternatively you can click on this link (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en) to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about you on this website. Clicking on the link above downloads an “opt-out cookie”. This can only be done if your browser allows cookies to be saved. If you delete your cookies regularly, you need to click again on the link each time you visit this website.

Use of Facebook social media plug-ins

Due to our justified interest in analysis, optimisation, and operation of our online offering (in the sense of Article 6(1) f GDPR), this website uses the Facebook social plug-in, which is operated by Facebook Inc. (1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA). The points where it has been integrated are identifiable from the Facebook logo and the terms “like” and “share” in the Facebook colours (blue and white). You can find information about all Facebook plug-ins at the following link: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/

Facebook Inc. observes European data protection law and is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement: https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active

The plug-in creates a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook servers. The website operator has no influence on the nature and scope of the data that the plug-in sends to the servers of Facebook Inc. You can find information about this here: https://www.facebook.com/help/186325668085084

The plug-in informs Facebook Inc. that you have visited this website as a user. It is possible that your IP address will be stored. If you are logged into your Facebook account during your visit to this website, the information listed is linked to this account.

If you use the plug-in functions – this could be by sharing or liking a contribution – the relevant information is also sent to Facebook Inc.

If you would like to prevent Facebook Inc. from linking this data with your Facebook account, please log out of Facebook before visiting this website and delete saved cookies. In your Facebook profile you can change further settings regarding data processing for advertising purposes or reject use of your data for advertising purposes. You can reach the settings here:

If deletion cannot be carried out as the data is required for permitted legal purposes, data processing is limited. In this case the data is blocked and not processed for other purposes.
